... and for the final beeswax treatment which gives a completely natural color and softness.

Polishing - antiqued finishes

The antiqued finishes include, before waxing, two procedures based on natural earth: aging and antiquing that imprint on the wood signs and suggestions of the past.

Then follows a treatment with shellac, which gives the furniture a precious and refined shine.

Polishing

The lacquered finish after the smoothing process, require a spray paint that is then expertly aged always through processes based on natural earth.

The Colored finish is reserved for furniture that must have a uniform base color.

The furniture receives the color with an ancient water treatment: the gesso. The gesso is spread in several layers with the brush or spatula, to give greater stability. The spatula leaves evident signs that give a more rustic and antiqued effect.
After the laying and drying of the gesso, a coat of polyurethane is laid to protect the gesso from water and make the furniture suitable for environments such as kitchen and bathroom.

The furniture, to give an even warmer effect, is aged with beeswax.

CUSTOMIZATION

It is possible to personalize the color by sending a sample to reproduce. We will send it back to the final customer for the last check and approval.

Each piece of furniture proposed colored or polished can be embellished with the decoration and become an absolutely unique piece of considerable artistic value.

Garlands of flowers, branches of leaves, birds, soft landscapes, as well as softening the rigidity and solidity of the furniture with their delicate poetry, give a touch of joy and festive harmony.

The decoration, adapted from time to time to the volumes of the furniture itself, is rigorously done by hand by certified master decorators.
Some aspects: after the water-based gesso or the polishing, which prepare the piece of furniture to receive the decoration, the drawing is brought back to the surface by means of the dusting technique.
Once the layout is ready, the decorator intervenes to verify the original imprint with colors, shades and brushstrokes, signs of his free artistic interpretation. Due to the manual skill, the decorations will never be reproduced in the same way and this makes each decorated piece of furniture a unique piece of art.
