Our Company
Tiferno Mobili was founded by Giulio Chiarioni in Città di Castello in 1976.
It owes its name to the ancient name of the city, which arose in Roman times along the banks of the high route of the Tiber, in the northernmost part of Umbria, on the border with Tuscany.
Our mission Our style Tradition and modernity Research and developmentOur style
In Italy and abroad, Tiferno Mobili affirms the incessant creative spirit of classic and "country style" furniture, precisely from the ancient Umbrian-Tuscan tradition.
A vast collection of furniture on which to create and customize shapes and colors, combining the sentimental dimension of the tradition from which they are born with the passion of personal creativity.
Tradition and modernity
Being able to combine the quality of a handmade product with an industrial management is our greatest reason for pride.
Tiferno and Aquitania furniture retrace the history and tradition of the Umbrian-Tuscan furniture, but at the same time add modernity and functionality that make them suitable for any modern environment.
Research and development
The colors of the Tiferno finishes are the result of careful and in-depth research to recreate, in a skilful mixture of natural pigments, the warmest and most suggestive shades of wood.
Tiferno Mobili's rich collection of ornamental and decorative motifs bears the signature of Susetta Barrese who, wife of the founder Giulio Chiarioni and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, manages the company's decorated design office. Each decoration is the result of his careful and passionate research, which ranges between the motifs of classical art and those inspired by the most popular expression of traditional craftsmanship.
